Project Billing and Refund Policy

Last updated 15 October 2026. Black Elk Labs projects are delivered and billed by Black Elk Projects Pty Ltd (ABN 18 702 623 390), part of Black Elk Group.

Quotes

Every project is quoted and agreed in writing before work starts. The quote sets out the scope, the milestones and the amount due at each milestone.

How we bill

We take a deposit when the project is agreed. The balance is billed at each milestone as the work is delivered, so you see working software before each payment.

Refunds

• If work has not started, your deposit is refunded in full.
• Milestones already delivered are not refundable.
• If a project is stopped part way, you pay only for work completed to that point; any amount paid for work not yet done is refunded.
• If we bill you incorrectly, we refund the error in full as soon as we confirm it.
• Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
